Testimonials
  • My name is Linda Daniels, originally from Birmingham, I have lived in the Bristol area since 1974. I have 2 grown up sons and 2 grandchildren. With retirement I took on a new role, I trained as an Independent Funeral Celebrant with greenfuse*, near their base inTotnes, Devon.

I feel very strongly that when we loose someone very dear to us, whether it is a spouse, partner, family member or a friend, not only should we mourn their passing but we should celebrate their life and what they have achieved. Becoming a Funeral Celebrant, allows me to help people who are dealing with the loss of a loved one, have a ceremony that truly reflects the life of the person who has died and helps those left behind begin to cope with the loss of someone dear to them.
When someone you love dies, it can be a confusing time, you do not always know where to go or what to do. You have a funeral to arrange, you may know what sort of ceremony you want for your loved one, you may know that you want a service that reflects the person and celebrates their life, but do not know how to arrange it or you may not know what type of ceremony you would like.

The funeral is an important time, it is when friends and family come together, to mourn and to say goodbye to a loved one, it is also a time to celebrate and reflect on their life and achievements

As an Independent Funeral Celebrant, I can help you and your family to hold a funeral ceremony that truly reflects and celebrates the life of your loved one.

I am able to help you select music, poems and/or readings and make it possible for family or friends to take an active part in the service if that is what they wish or I can take the whole ceremony myself, the choice is completely yours. Whatever type of ceremony you would like I can help you to achieve it

I can help you compile something that is unique to your family and your loved one who has died. It can be :
    Religious
    Semi Religious
    Non Religious
    An end of life ceremony
    Cremation
Burial – either conventional or woodland

I will happily visit you in your home, to talk over what you would like for your loved one’s funeral and if you wish, help with selecting music, reading or poems.

I have been working as a Celebrant for just over 5 years, it has been a very special time for me to be alongside families and help them celebrate a life lost.

If you live in the Bristol or South Gloucestershire area, I am very happy to assist you at this difficult time.

" I would like to say a “Very big thank you” for the beautiful service on Friday.
You spoke about Dad as if you had known him all your life, to get the very special events of Dads 85 years into a 25 minute service was amazing, I had so many people asking who took the service as they were very impressed with you and the way you put Dads life over.
I will have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone who has the unfortunate task of arranging a funeral.."
