    Dear Georgina

    Thank you very much for facilitating such a beautiful service for my mum, Jean Hewitt, on 28th November.  I know we thanked you on the day, but I wanted to write to impart our sincere gratitude.

    You demonstrated such competence and empathy when meeting with my sister and me prior to the service.  This was such a very busy and scary time, but we instantly knew that Mum's service was in good hands.  Similarly, all of your communication with us was very professional and reassuring.

    The service itself couldn't have been better, except if my lovely mum was still alive and we were burying someone else, someone very very old who had lived a full life of course! …. (But) People left the crematorium feeling more positive and uplifted than before they arrived.

    We had so many comments from people saying how beautiful the service was, some even said it was the loveliest funeral they had ever been to!

    The wedding service you wrote and performed for us was nothing short of perfect. It summarised James and I and our relationship together so beautifully and it is the part of the day that we will always cherish the most. All our guests commented what a beautiful service it was too. Remembering from the day and looking at the pictures, there were lots of smiles and happy tears. You brought us, our friends and family together in the most special of ways, making our wedding day personal and real to us.

    I simply do not know how to thank you sufficiently well for the service you delivered – which gained universal approval and admiration throughout the entire congregation.

    It takes a very special person, with remarkable natural ability and exceptional technical experience to carry off the role of a ‘professional celebrant’ with the integrity and sincerity that you display in abundance.
    Not only are you dealing with (often) ‘shell-shocked’ customers constantly, but their heightened stress and anxiety due to their bereavement and increased responsibility can only make your task even more difficult.

    From the moment we first met, you gave both N and I the reassurance that we were in very capable hands – and dealing with some very difficult and troublesome personal matters, it takes a great deal of care, consideration and understanding – not so much in knowing what to write down, but what to edit, adapt or delete, to encapsulate someone’s entire life in 20 minutes or half an hour.

    You are not just an ‘Artist’ Georgina – but a ‘Master’ of your craft – and if there were such a thing as a “National Gallery” for your profession, to my mind, you would take pride of place in the main hall.
